That's too funny, because I've been trying to correct my holes to wholes, but when I search my posts all the way back to the beginning of this forum, I found 16 times that I used either one of those words and only managed to "correct" 50% of them.

That said...I can't help but wonder what your motivation is. Are you really hoping that I will somehow be enlightened on how to spell wholes and holes? And, even if I do...what about the other thousands of words that I might misuse. I'm angered by your post and also saddened by the fact that you have given someone else's language use so much power over your happiness. What could you have done with this time that might have had a more positive impact?

I'm not saying that errors don't jump out at me when I'm reading someone's post, but I personally would not want to point it out, because I don't want to have a hand in discouraging anyone from participating in the forum all over a silly spelling error.

I'm sorry because I try really hard not to be a spelling/grammar nazi, but it's making me crazy. It is "holes", not "wholes" when you are talking about cutting into walls, etc. A "whole" is when talking about a complete object, ie a "He ate the whole pizza".

Again I am really sorry if you are offended by this but it's been making me crazy for weeks.
